Dr Roper graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology.  He attended UC San Francisco dental school and maintained a general practice in Petaluma for 10 years before returning to UCSF to specialize in Endodontics.  He also earned a Master’s Degree in Oral and Craniofacial Biology concurrent with his residency with a thesis investigating the use of lasers in cleaning and shaping root canal systems.

Outside of dentistry Dr Roper enjoys cooking and is an avid runner.  He also enjoys spending time with his three children.
