Please eat a normal breakfast / lunch on the day of your appointment.

Root canal treatment is performed using local anesthetic.  There are usually no restrictions after the procedure regarding driving or returning to work.

Please take all medications as prescribed by your physician.  If you have a question please call our office.

If you use an antibiotic premedication prior to dental appointments due to mitral valve prolapse, heart murmur, artificial hip, knee or have a history of rheumatic disease, please take as directed prior to your appointment.
